J. T. Mahajan College of Engineering is accredited by National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi. It is approved by AICTE and affiliated to North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. The Government of Maharashtra has rated the college as 'A Grade'. Our college is ISO 9001:2008 certified by JAS ANZ, Australia and New Zealand. The college has a very good placement cell and 95% students join reputed companies through it. Students, being heart and soul of the college, we provide special attention towards students by conducting special classes on holidays.

Our college regularly arranges National Seminars, conferences and paper presentations. We also cadre the aesthetic interests of our students by organizing various cultural programs. Our college has a very rich and spacious library, well equipped laboratories and up-to-date gymnasium. Every year we conduct HRD programs to give proper shape to the personalities of our students.

Technical and Medical Education Society which was established in 1983 under the dynamic leadership of great educationalist late Dadasaheb J.T. Mahajan Ex. Home Minister of Maharashtra State; started J.T. Mahajan College of Engineering, Faizpur in 1984. 

The college campus is situated on the Burhanpur-Shirpur-Ankaleshwar State Highway No. 4 at a distance of 2.2 Kms. from Faizpur. The College is surrounded by a vast green belt of agricultural fields under the foothills of Satpuda ranges within Tapi river valley. By road it is 18 Kms from Bhusawal Railway station, an important and welknown railway junction of the central railway.Trunk main rail lines from Delhi, Bombay, Surat, Pune Madras, Bangalore, Nagpur and Howrah i.e. almost from all the corners on the country meet and pass through Bhusawal. All trains stop at Bhusawal. Faizpur is also well connected by road with important cities of Gujrat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The district head quarter, Jalgaon is 45 kms from the College.

The college is having highly qualified, experienced, dedicated, stable and adequate staff available in the entire department. College has well equipped laboratories, workshop, library and computer centre including LAN connecting all the departments. College has evolved to a green campus with consistent efforts and dedication. The campus with lush green lawn surrounded by palm trees, pollution free environment makes more joyful. Towards sustainable development the campus has renewable energy through solar plant, rain water harvesting etc. These amenities make the campus ideal for lifelong learning.
